What was the last big thing you left behind?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 29, 2009:
My sloth.
On February 15th 2009, I abandoned my sloth. I loved that sloth like a basketball, but he had to go. I will miss him. Maybe he has an attractive sister that I can meet up with in the future, but for today, at least, sloth is gone and I am not looking back.

How come you always do all the hard stuff I'm afraid to try? I can't imagine giving up my sloth….I'm famously (infamously) lazy.
I'm fairly lazy too. Actually, my laziness is legendary. Where I come from, Rip Van Winkle was just taking a nap. I've got support this time, though, and for me, at least, being supported makes giving up anything a lot easier. Also, I have added in a lot of activity so I am not missing the giant sloth as much as I thought.
How are you doing? Go cheer up Miss Shuganah! Or drop a house on her.
